Workshop Information

A sculpted ceramic vessel resembling a human head with exaggerated facial features, painted in pastel tones. It has green eyes, a protruding tongue, and wears a black hat with a green apple on top.

Travis’ workshops focus on creating expressive, narrative-driven ceramic sculpture through a balance of structure, observation, and surface exploration. Working with both animal forms and the human figure, students learn to build pieces that feel grounded, intentional, and alive.

Travis teaches a wide range of techniques and processes all open to a range of skill levels. He is available for in person workshops, as well as private virtual classes. His workshops are designed to build both technical skills and a sharper eye for observation, giving students the tools to bring their ideas to life in clay.

Workshops can range anywhere from one day to one or two weeks.
